Back in Canada

I just got back from picking Firda up from the airport. She is taking a “get rid of the grime that comes from being on a plane for more than a day” shower and I am cooking up the chicken satay (a la Troy) that I started this morning. It’s smelling pretty good so I couldn’t have screwed it up too badly.
From what Firda has told me the plane rid was pretty crappy. She has a coughing cold right now so she only remembers the flight being one long coughing spell. Oh and she had to walk back to the galley (or kitchen) when she wanted a drink of water. I call that poor airline services but I usually fly with Air Transat so I can’t complain. It’s a wonder if they feed you sometimes.
After the food I think we are going straight too bed. It’s been a long couple days for Firda and I’m pretty tired out as well. I’ve been running on adrenaline for the past day and a half. That’s the only reason I could think of that would explain why I still have tonnes of energy but haven’t had a meal since Friday lunch. Go me 🙂
Alright. Off the flip the satay. Night all.

  2. Glad to hear she arrived safely. Hopefully you’ll both feel better in the morning!

  3. Thanks both of you. She is staying until April 10th of next year (so six months). At least that is the plan for now 🙂
