Take a little Asian folklore and add dinosaurs/serpents/dragons fighting, you’d think there would be the potential for an adequate action movie. Alas that is not the case for D-War (aka Dragon Wars). The action sequences were pretty fun to watch – there were a couple of intentional laughs though there were more unintentional ones. The CGI was adequate. I believe the budget for this movie went to the CGI since the script was horrible written and the acting was at the same level.
I’m thinking that just before writing this movie the scripter writer went to the bathroom, took a “number 2” and looked at it sitting there in the toilet bowl and though to themselves “I’m going to make a movie based on that”.
Horrible.
