I’m tired and I’m sick. I think I started getting sick on Friday but it didn’t really kick in until yesterday. It’s not a horrible cold since I don’t have a sore throat (which to me is one of the worse things that could happen when you have a cold – apart from vomitting). I’m at home today since even though I don’t feel too bad I don’t feel like making people at school sick.
So the weekend was good none the less. The concert was pretty good. Here is my mini concert review “There were two opening bands. The first band was called the “lullabye arkestra”. Three words can describe this band “too much screaming” but it’s not like Bjork screaming (which I like) it was annoying screaming. The second opening band were three guys playing with feedback and loops called “black dice”. I don’t need three words to describe them I can use one “painful”. They used a lot of very loud, very high pitched feedback like noises which were just annoying. As you can probably tell I wasn’t too impressed with the opening bands. They had their interesting moments but in general they weren’t very good. Thank god for Godspeed You Black Emperor who saved the whole night. They were amazing. They were loud at times but it was a controlled loudness (unlike the opening bands). It was a long concert but it was well worth it.”
The rest of the weekend I stayed with friends in Toronto. We did a little bit of shopping on Saturday and we watched a bunch of movies over the weekend. It’s nice to be home and be able to sleep in my own bed. Now I’m going to lay down and rest for a while.

I was praying hard that there was no one infected with SARS at the concert you were going because with so many people there, you never knew. Plus, I’m paranoid 🙂 Was relieved to know that your cold wasn’t a nasty one.
I thought about that too but then I figured that I can’t live my life being paranoid. It wouldn’t be any fun that way 🙂
I’m more paranoid for other people than for myself, mostly because I know I have nothing to lose if I die 🙂

And, to answer your question, yes, I’m too lazy to open Explorer which is but a mouse slide away. 🙁
Kelly: Is this the first time this has happened? I don’t know why since I haven’t done anything to my weblog in a while. Interesting. I shall have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up 🙂

Actually, Troy, this has been going on for a few weeks now. If I visit in Explorer then go back to Netscape, everything is fine. And it’s only the middle column. Odd.
You know what? I just did a search on Google to find if there was any page that had a list of Netscape 7 bugs but surprisingly couldn’t find any. That could only mean one of two things: either the browser is that good or people just can’t be bothered with it anymore. I hope it is the former.
So if you load it in Netscape it’s screwed up and then you load IE it’s okay and then when you go back with Netscape it fixes itself? That is wrong. So very wrong. I have no idea why that would happen. I know I haven’t changed anything (other than adding an include command for my currently reading section of the sidebar. Hmmm. Still pondering. How does it look in other browsers? I’ll have to try that out when I’m at school tomorrow.
