Open Letter to America

Dear America and Americans,
I have finally lost faith in your country. I hoped for the best last night but I guess I’m an optomist. Another four years of incompetence, bullying, “terror”, fear and loathing. Oh well. Maybe in four years you’ll start listening to the rest of the world and we can all live in harmony. Until them I can only sit back and watch.
Sincerely,
Troy
P.S. Check out and memorize the definition of “impeach“, you might need it in a year or two.

  1. hear hear!
    (remember watergate!?)

  2. Remember that nearly half of America didn’t vote for Bush this time around. They’re not all insane 🙂 .

  3. Todd

    You’re a retard.

  4. Rachel

Yes, let’s please not focus our hate on the whole country. I did what I could, here.

  5. Troy, there are still 49% of us who did not vote for Bush. Don’t loose faith in our country. Loose faith in the slightly more than half of us who voted for him, but also remember that there are still about 56,154,014 people who did not vote for Bush.
And, I feel like people aren’t ready to give up so easily. Bush may remain president, but the rest of us going to work hard to get our thoughts heard.

  6. hey! don’t tar us all with the same brush! je n’ai pas vote pour lui!

  7. Todd: I imagine your a Bush supporter. You speak as eloquently as your president.
Rachel, Rebecca and Kristen: I realize that not everyone voted for Bush and I haven’t lost faith in Americans (as individuals). I just would have thought that the majority of the US population would have been pissed off at Bush for lying to them repeatedly. That is why I’m saddened. It’s really nothing personal. 🙂 Plus I also like getting comments and anything where Bush is bashed is bound to get comments, even hate comments like the one from Todd. 🙂

  8. “Maybe in four years you’ll start listening to the rest of the world and we can all live in harmony.”
Isn’t that what people said four years ago? I guess we can hold out hope.

    Me too.

  10. Yes, I would have to say that what happened last week did not represent a majority speaking it’s mind. This event clearly represented a divide. And now, it’s possible that (the decision) could be overturned… once again.
Hmm… Ohio, the big fat haging chad. I can’t wait to see what happens. Grab your popcorn. It’s going to be an interesting drama.
Can Mr. Hed, Muffin, Mona and I come hide under your car?
