The Trials and Tribulations of A Boring Life

My life has been very boring of late. Not that it was ever exciting or likely to be in the forseeable future. I guess it depends on what I do that will determine whether it is or not. The most excitement I had this week was going out to buy a new fan. Actually I bought a new fan, found out it made an annoying clicking noise, returned it and bought a new one. The new fan is kind of cool. It has a remote control so you can turn it on or off and change the speed without actually touching it. I like to call it the “lazy man/woman’s fan”. It’s not necessary and it’s not the reason I bought it.
Other than that I purchased a bunch of DVDs this week including The Royal Tenenbaums, Blue Velvet and Ravenous. I haven’t watched any of them yet but I plan to watch a couple of them soon.
My weekend looks like it will be really boring since I’m staying in Waterloo. I don’t really have any hang-out friends in this town. I have friends from work with who I occasionally get together with, usually for dinner or to see a movie, but no one that I can just hang out with. I’ll probably just sit around and watch movies and screw around on the computer to while the time away. Yipee!

At least you’ll get to talk to me this weekend 🙂 Yeah, I know it’s far from being exciting but hey.
