Big news over the holidays! My brother and sister-in-law had their baby! A beautiful baby girl named Sofia Maria. She was born at 3:01 a.m. on January 1st, 2009. She was the new years baby in Orillia (a small town about 1.5 hours north of Toronto).
This isn’t the first niece and nephew for us – since we have a niece and a nephew on Firda’s side. Sadly I haven’t met them yet (though my 5 year old niece has a facebook account).
We haven’t met Sofia yet either but Firda and I are planning on heading up there with my parents this weekend. I’m sure there will be pictures next week.
