Free PSP Games

Unless you?ve had your head stuck in the sand for the last 3 years or so, you can?t fail to notice the popularity of Sony?s PSP. Chances are if you are reading this article you own one yourself, and if you own one chances are you?d be interested in knowing where to get some free games?

Now there are a few different ways of obtaining free PSP games on the internet at the moment.

The most common sites are the membership sites, or the ?free? membership sites as I like to call them. They are pretty unscrupulous guys, claiming to have lots of free games to download as part of your membership to them. Only problem is that the membership costs 50 bucks a month. Not quite free huh? There are places where you can get genuinely free games, so why bother with these guys?

The second most common way, and probably the way most of your buddies get their free games are the torrent sites, or P2P sites, or whatever you want to call them. These sites are illegal first of all, and second of all they are where all the hackers and lowlives hang out on the net. Yes, you can download some free stuff from there, but that won?t be all you get-you?ll also get a computer stuffed to the gills with spyware and malware, and quite possibly a bricked PSP too. Bargain huh?

The last sites are a pretty good silver lining thankfully. In the last couple of years some genuine sites have sprung up offering real downloads for free. They are quick and easy to use and they provide very fast downloads in the most part. There is a catch though-you have to pay! Don?t worry; it?s not like some monthly fee or paying per game. It?s usually about the cost of one new game, or so, say about $35, and once you pay, that?s it, for life. All you need to do from there is download as much as you possibly. Pretty cool huh?

So as you can see, PSPs may be cool, but getting free PSP games is much cooler. Good luck in your search!
