Friday Five – Jan 31st, 2003

Time for the Friday Five. I didn’t do last weeks because it was just too hard (and would have taken more brain power than I wanted to expend) 🙂
1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?
Probably Superman. I think he was my favorite superhero because he was the one that got the most exposure. I remember watching the Superfriends cartoon on Sunday mornings but I don’t remember much else about it (except for the wondertwins).
2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
A horse or pony. I’m actually glad I never got one since they are way too much maintenance. Feed, water, clean up poop, feed, water, clean up poop etc.
3. What’s the furthest from home you’ve been?
Furthest away would be in Europe and the exact point would be Berlin, Germany. I think that is the furthest east I went. Not really that far if you think about it. Someday I’d like to make it to the other side of the world: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia. Those places 🙂
4. What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to learn but haven’t yet?
I’ve always wanted to be able to play a musical instrument (especially the piano) but I don’t think that is ever going to happen since my mind isn’t mentally wired to learn instruments. I’ve tried a couple of times. The ukulele (don’t laught) didn’t suit me and the trumpet was just too hard. 🙂
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Resting tonight, getting up at 7 or 7:30 am tomorrow morning, go to the Hospice of Waterloo charity curling Appealspiel, get home around 5 or 6, rest some more and thus ends the weekend. I don’t plan on doing much on Sunday. Yipee!
