Hi Everyone. I’m still on the mend. My stomach is still sore, the incision is still healing and I’ve got two more days of antibiotics to take but I’m feeling better.
First off I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes, and I’d especially thank my wife Firda for being there. I know I’ve thanked her 5 million times before but I don’t know what I would have done without her. As you know she visited me every day and stuck around even during the times when I could barely remain conscious. She brought me stuff from home, and kept me in good spirits. She is taking care of me at home, cooking food for me to eat and helping me out when I need it. You couldn’t ask for a better wife, friend and life companion. 🙂 I love you Firda.
I’m still not ready to type out my version of the ordeal. It will take a while and I’m still really tired. The antibiotics are doing funky things to my brain making it hard to concentrate for prolonged amounts of time. Hopefully once I am done with them everything will clear up. I’m also hoping to get my appetite back sometime soon. Not having any form of food in my body (other than IV) for almost a week has screwed up my appetite. I’m eating but not as much as I likely should.
