A Waterloo Weekend

My first weekend back in Waterloo in a couple of months and I have to say it was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Friday night was uneventful. One of my housemates and I watched Ghostbusters because we had nothing else to do.
Saturday I hung out with an ex-housemate/classmate. We went downtown to the farmers market and picked up a bunch of food, then went CD shopping where I bought two Magnetic Fields, a Junkie XL and the new Queens of the Stone Age CDs plus I picked up Peter Gabriel‘s “Security” and a B-52‘s album on vinyl. Did a little book shopping as well. I found a box set of three Shel Silverstein books including “Where the Sidewalk Ends”, “A Light in the Attic” and “Falling Up”. We went back to his place to cook up some food for lunch (mostly stuff from the market) and while I was there his housemate’s girlfriend invited me to a little Christmas get together that night. The get together was small but it was also fun. Met a couple of interesting people.
Today is a lazy day. I was planning on going into school and working on my thesis corrections but I have all next week to do that. I’ve been watching TV since I got up at 1 pm (it was a late night). I finally sat down and watched “A Christmas Story” which was really funny. Now I have to find something to keep myself entertained. Hope your weekend was fun. Later.

I stayed up all night working on the client’s design. I think I’m back to my normal nightly work hour now. Yay! Aren’t you proud of me? I know you are 🙂 I can barely keep my eyes open but I want to chat with you. Not sure if you’ll be online, though. Hrm.
