Rolling Stone magazine has published what they believe to be the 50 Coolest and the 50 Uncoolest Records of all time. I’m happy to say I have 3 of the coolest records (1 2 3) but I also have 3 of the uncoolest records (1 2 3).
I have to admit I’m surprised that Weezer was picked as one of the uncool records. To tell you the truth I enjoy all three of the uncool records I have. I guess my 3 cool records eliminate my 3 uncool records to leave me void of coolness but not so much that I’m uncool. In the music department at least.

I wish my connection weren’t so slow. I would’ve loved to browse all the pages to find if I owned any of the cool and uncool records. Oh well. Maybe when they come up with yet another batch of cool and uncool records of all time, my ‘net connection will be much faster than this 🙂
Not to worry.. next year, they’ll realize where they went wrong with The Strokes and The White Stripes. Case in point: 6 months ago, The Strokes would have been up around #10 on the cool list. ’50 coolest records OF ALL TIME’ my ass.
