Friday Five – November 7, 2003

Since I’m still sick and can’t be bothered to come up with anything original I give you the Friday Five 🙂
1. What food do you like that most people hate?
Haggis. Though it’s just because people are too afraid to try it because of what it’s made of. If they tried it they’d like it.
2. What food do you hate that most people love?
A while ago the answer would have been rice (which I’m still not a fan of plain). Now I would probably have to say spaghetti. Never ever liked the stuff. I can remember that we were suppose to have spaghetti on the night that I broke my leg (I was 6 or 7 at the time). I was actually kind of glad since we didn’t have to eat the spaghetti.
3. What famous person, whom many people may find attractive, is most unappealing to you?
Sarah Jessica Parker. Christina Aguilera. Pink. To name a few.
4. What famous person, whom many people may find unappealing, do you find
attractive?

This is a harder one. I think Kathy Bates is kind of attractive in a motherly/grandmotherly type of way. She just seems so nice. As for that I can’t think of anyone else right now.
5. What popular trend baffles you?
The Trading Spaces phenomena. I like the show but do we really need a dozen spin offs? I could handle While You Were Out but now there is Trading Spaces Family, Trading Spaces University, Trading Spaces British Invasion, Trading Spaces for Kids, Trading Spaces 100 Grand etc etc. It seems like that is the only original show TLC has. I realize some of those one I listed were one-shot gimmicks but still.

  1. Haggis? It tastes good? Why does everyone else that has tried it say it is repulsive? At least, they hated on Fear Factor. Perhaps I shouldn’t be judging things bases on television. 🙂
