Apparently the world is going to hell in a hand basket. I got home from work 10 minutes ago and bumped into one of my neighbours. She told me that an hour or two ago a guy was threatening to kill his girlfriend a couple of apartment buildings down from ours. The street was closed off and the police kept people inside their houses and away from their windows. My neighbour said she thought the guy had a sniper rifle. I usually enjoy Waterloo but this kind of creeps me out. I’m actually kind of glad that Firda isn’t around right now since I can only think of the worse happening. I’ll post more once I get more details (the local news should have something in 20 minutes).
