New Job in the New Month

I should have posted this a while ago since I promised to post when I had something interesting to say. For those of you who know me personally you already know that I’ve been in the process of looking for a job since my funding at the University dries up at the end of this month. Well through contacts and the such I have a new job which I will be starting on May 3rd. I’m looking forward to this change. I’m not looking forward to getting up much earlier than I do now but I’ll survive. I always do πŸ™‚

  1. As I often don’t get up to go to work until 8:30 or 9:00am myself, I feel your pain.
What time do you have to get up to work now?
And even though I feel you pain, I can still manage to laugh at your misfortune….but I guess that’s what friends are for eh?
    hehe

  2. For my first day of work I will have to get up by 6:30. That’s in the AM!!! πŸ™‚

  3. Ouch! You can do it, though! I used to love changes like that before I had my daughter. I’m not a routine sort of girl. They depress me, so I always welcomed weird schedule changes like that.
Good luck, and have fun learning your new job!

  6. Congrats on the new gig! As for getting up early – I feel your pain. Myself, I can’t be bothered to get to work before 9:30 at the absolute earliest. Luckily my employer is cool with that. πŸ˜‰
