Today was the due date for my tuition to be paid so I could go to school next term. I took all the appropriate papers into school so I could pay for my tuition but before I did that I looked at my tuition pay statement which said something about me being awarded a scholarship. I think to myself, “I didn’t apply for one, how did I get it?” Then I stop thinking and shout “whoopidy do!”. The scholarship is for 1000 dollars and goes towards my tuition so I only have to pay 800 dollars more. I’m so happy!!!!
Plus Friday is pay day and I get a big pay cheque so I am no longer strapped for cash. I still can’t go crazy and buy everything I would like to but I don’t have to worry about money for a while. I might even be able to save up enough money to go travelling after I’m done school.

WOO, CONGRATS!!!
I wish I won $1000. That would end my worry of getting beaten up to death by a mean debt collector from the phone company. Heh.
Um, is that Canadian dollar? If so, even that wouldn’t save me. Bummer.
It is in Canadian Dollars but that is okay since everything I buy is in Canadian dollars as well 🙂 Actually the CDN dollar went up in value today. Yipee 🙂
I know, but that would mean that even if I won that scholarship (which is impossible in any way), the debt collector would still bug me because I owe the evil phone company 900 USD, thanks to the additional 300 USD fine placed by them this month for having not paid the initial 600 USD debts. How depressing.
Now that I’ve got some sleep, I regret posting the above comment. See why I shouldn’t be allowed to post comments on other people’s weblogs? 😉
