So who do I believe? The CBC or MSNBC? I’d like to believe my national broadcasting station, since it’s the patriotic thing to do, but I’d like to believe MSNBC because they reported that less people died. It’s no wonder I don’t trust the media.

Ever notice that when CNN covers suicide bombing that their death tolls are usually worded like this “7 people and a suicide bomber are dead after…”
Perhaps in an attempt to dehumanize the bomber.
How would you say it? I would likely report it as “8 people dead including the bomber”
Perhaps this mentality accounts for the missing dead person in MSNBC’s news headline.
Just a theory…
