Here is this weeks Friday Five:
1. What’s your favorite animal?
Hmm. It would have to be a tossup between lemurs, penguins, the platyapus and monkeys. I don’t know which is my favorite though. Kind of leaning towards lemurs because they are so freakin’ cute!
2. What pets have you had in your lifetime?
A coupious number of fish, several of them suicidal. I had one that jumped out of its bowl and into the fireplace while there was a fire in it. One dog – Daisy, who was hit by a car about 7 years ago and I still miss her. We actually just got another dog because my grandmother passed away at Christmas time and my mom agreed to take care of her dog. Two cats. One, Tipsey, who passed away the day after Christmas 5 or 6 years ago and one, Molly, that my parents currently are raising. My brother and I had two hamsters which both ended up dying of natural causes. And to conclude this rambling about a 12 to 16 rabbits. We started with three and from their they multiplied “like rabbits”. They all ended up passing away. We never ate any for dinner.
3. Is there any specific pet that you’ve wanted but never had? Why?
Not really. A lemur or monkey would be cool but I would rather they live in the wild than live with me.
4. Are you allergic to any animals?
Not that I know of.
5. Do you have any ‘pet’ pet peeves (your pets or others’)?
I love dogs but I don’t like how they can’t be litter trained. Why can’t they be smarter, like cats, in the litter respect. I also hate when a dog walks out into the middle of the road and you start yelling at it because you don’t want it to get hit and the dog just looks at you like your an idiot and continues to stand in the middle of the road. And I hate how cats don’t sleep when you want them to sleep and end up jumping all over you while you are trying to sleep and how they purr like crazy when you are trying to sleep as well. I love when they purr but not when I’m trying to sleep. As well long hair cats that shed all over the place are a pain in the butt. That’s enough ‘pet’ pet peeves for today 🙂
