The things I hate the most about my job…

You want to know the thing that I hate most about my job. When you call or email someone requesting information and they don’t get back to you. What ever happened to sending a nice little email saying “We don’t have that information ready yet. We will get it to you in a week or so. I’ll let you know”. A little courtesy is always a nice thing.
The biggest problem that comes from this is when the clients are jumping around wondering where their final report is and we can’t finish it because we are missing the requested information who do you think the finger will be pointed at?
By the way this isn’t about my co-workers. We all sit within shouting distance of each other and communication isn’t much of a problem.

  1. Yep, it’s called closed-loop communication. Kind of important in the interest of not killing people you are trying to do business with.
