In previous posts I’ve talked about being a TA (teaching assistant) during the school year. I’ve always done one of two courses: either Intro to Materials part 1 or Intro to Materials part 2. In these courses our duties as the TA is to take the students through the various labs that are performed throughout the year and because of this interacting with the students we get to know each other quite well.
Last night two students in the class I TAed this term were killed in a car accident. I don’t know the details and I don’t even know which two students it was. I’ve been trying to find out more information but none of the news sources have released the names. I feel awful.
