Snow Day!!

Last night and this morning we had the first substantial snow fall of the season. Driving to work wasn’t that much of an ordeal. Driving home was another story. There were times during my trip home where I couldn’t see the road so had to “guess” where it was and hope that I wasn’t in the oncoming lane. My drive home, that usually takes 40 to 45 minutes under good conditions, turned into a 1.5 hour ordeal. Thankfully I’m home and hopefully the weather gets better before tomorrow.
One more thing I’d like to mention. I’d like to congratulate the drivers in my path on the way home. I didn’t see a single accident. Usually during the first big snow of the season I either witness several accidents or near-misses. Not a single one. Kudos to all of you.

  2. Glad to hear you got home safely!

  3. It’s nice to see that the other people on the road weren’t being idiots. Always bugs me when I see reckless drivers durning horrible conditions.
