It appears that New Line Cinema is jumping on the “This Guy vs. That Guy” bandwagon. They’ve finally been given the go ahead on Freddy vs. Jason which pits Freddy Kreuger from the Nightmare on Elm Street movies and Jason from the Friday the 13th movies. I actually think that this movie would be interesting. I’ve seen three of the Elm Street movies and one or two of the Friday the 13th movies and I enjoyed them, as much as one can enjoy a B-Movie. To see these two heavy-hitters in the horror world go at it will be quite interesting.
And in my opinion the best Nightmare on Elm Street was the 6th installment Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare. Why? Because it was more humour than horror. It made me laugh and I like laughing.

Ha! I like the one where they’re in the mental hospital…I can’t remember which one that is though. Second? maybe Fourth?
The part that freaked me out the most is when Freddy was using the dude’s veins to make him a string puppet. *Gross*.
I hated Nightmare On Elm Street movies but I watched them anyway every time someone rented the video. I don’t think I would now, though. I’ve become way too picky moviewise 🙂
