I awoke this morning to a world covered in several inches of ice. I guess it freezing rained for a large chunk of last night. I didn’t know about this until Firda mentioned it, and then I got a phone call from my supervisor asking if I was planning on heading into the office. Apparently the powers that be shut down the whole school system in Stratford, which is much bigger than a snow day since on snow days only non-essential personnel are told to stay home.
So I’m working from home. I have enough work to do so it’s not a day off. Though I do enjoy working from home. Plus getting to spend more time with Firda isn’t a bad thing (even if I’m working).
