To start off I should wish all Canadians a happy “belated” Canada Day. I should have posted on Friday but I was too lazy.
This weekend was a long weekend, much like it is from our American neighbors. Though we got Friday off instead of today.
Quick summary of what Firda and I did this weekend.
Friday: Slept in until 9:00 or so. Had a nice lazy morning. I played video games, while Firda worked/played on the computer. We went out for lunch at Pizza Hut around 2:00 pm or so. Following food we went over to the University of Waterloo, where they have an all-day Canada day celebration. We spent most of our time there wandering around. Firda has some pictures from the day on her Flickr account. Just before we left to go back to the apartment (around 5:00) I noticed that Robert Munsch was on the stage telling stories, so we sat down and listened to him for a half hour.
